The resource person explained about the importance of decision making techniques in engineering problems. He defined the term problem in detail with the practical example and analyzed the reason for failure by asking Why-Why question. Students learned to diagnose the problem by the enquiry of why.

The resource person explained in detail about the three manageable roles of loss elimination, risk Management, and Life Cycle Asset Management (LCAM). He also explained the difference between quality and reliability with the real time examples. Students gained some basic knowledge on reliability by this webinar.

The resource person explained about the opportunities for the Engineers in the Hybrid composite nano materials. He highlighted the need of natural composite in various fields. He also focused the future trend on the Metal matrix composites with fiber reinforcement such as carbon fiber, glass fiber and aramid fiber. Students were really benefited a lot by this interactive webinar.

Nearly 72 participants were attended the Webinar.
The resource person presented about the future development of Mechanical industries and also explained about the opportunities for the Engineers in various industrial and Governmental sectors. The students can enter into high salary Mechanical Jobs in fields like Aerospace, Military, Civil Highway construction, etc., by the GATE exam score. The students were motivated to start preparation for GATE exam from second year onwards and to attend the exam from third year of engineering studies. The students were really benefited to choose their own career path by this webinar.
