Our College has promoted meaningful Research and Development activities with a vision and mission to
pursue and promote Research in Frontier Technologies. In order to strengthen and expand the research
activities in the institute, R&D cell was established and is functioning in this Institution from last
several years. It is acting as the nodal centre for all Research related activities.
Policy: To create good infrastructural facilities and conducive environment to inculcate research
culture.

Research and Development Cell organized a seminar on “Call for Paper Writing and Research Report on Innovation” on 8th January 2021. Seminar was presented by Dr. Sr. S. Anita, M.Tech.,Ph.D., HOD/ECE, St. Anne’s College of Engineering and Technology. She started with introduction about research and explained how to write a research paper. It is an eye opener for students to write a research paper. She explained her research work in detail. Nearly 100 students and 20 faculties of our college actively participated in this knowledge gaining event and got benefitted.
The Research and Development Cell of St. Anne’s College of Engineering and Technology in association with AICTE, MHRD Institute Innovation Cell organized a Webinar on “Enterprise Applications and Cloud Platforms” on 4th December 2020 between 9:30AM and 10:30AM through Youtube live platform.
Mr. Suresh Sundaram, Project Manager/Delivery Lead at SAP, Atlanta, USA was the speaker of the session. He started the session with the introduction of Enterprise systems and its applications. He explains about how the ERP system works, Supply Chain Management system Customer Relationship Management. He continued with Cloud Computing, service models and benefits of the cloud. He presented it very clearly and simply so that all can easily understood.
164 participants from various educational institution including both faculty and students were benefitted by this webinar. Queries posted in the Live chat box by the participants were answered by the resource person. All active participants submitted their feedback and received the E-Certificate through online.
The Research and Development Cell in association with AICTE, MHRD Institute Innovation Cell conducted the webinar on “Engineering To Industry” for the students, scholars and teaching faculties on 28.11.2020 @ 02:00PM to 03:00PM .Mr. R. Nachiyappan Deputy General Manager| Design & Engineering, Larsen and Toubro Limited | Defence IC delivered the lecture.
